old world is a top from Making A Lather

I have a top for the old world mystery quilt from Quilted Twins. I really like it. It's big, so, I will need to find a back to continue with it. I have really enjoyed this mystery.

I am having a thermostat war with my son. Our AC has a 1 degree difference that is all the difference. One degree lower and it's time to crack out the sled dogs and mush through the snow. My son is a big guy and warm all the time, so he sneaks the AC down. I don't realize it, until ...

more 9 patch from Making A Lather

And then, there were more. I enjoy working on these in the evening while we are watching Tv.

I talked about racing my daughter using 2 1/2 inch strips here. I think I am still ahead of her. But, neither of us is tipping our hand. I decided to throw a few red into the mix. mystery clue 5 from Making A Lather

Oh dear, the reveal for the old world mystery quilt is today, and, I am behind a clue. I was doing really well keeping up with the clues until, of course, the end. It is a stunning quilt. I am thrilled with it and hope my choices will be as lovely.

I needed to make a big mess with clue 5.

It was a bit like piecing a puzzle to find strips that were nearly the right size to make sets.

I cut the strip sets, and, then, needed to make more. This was a great stash buster. I ...

to do tuesday from Making A Lather

Last week's to do
1. start quilted twins mystery
This was an adventure- In all this house of fabric, I couldn't find enough brown or gold for the constants in this mystery quilt. I started looking online for any suitable fabric. I didn't see any that thrilled me. I wasn't going to risk going out. Then, Joann fabric sent a coupon for curbside pick up. hmm. It took 2 attempts, but I found what I wanted. I was very frustrated in the end, but I have the fabric. That is as far as I got.

2 ...
